I’d like to WELCOME you to my Work-From-Home Blog. This is where I get the chance to tell you a little about myself.

My name is Marlene Cronkhite. I was born in Santa Maria, California. Presently, I live in Desert Hot Springs, a quaint little town about ten miles north of Palm Springs.

I’ve been independent most of my life, a working mother of two lovely children. For about fifteen years I lived and worked in Fresno California until my children were grown.

I moved to the Palm Springs area in 1975. I worked at a few country clubs here in the desert area as bookkeeper and hostess manager. Then I landed a job at a medical center and served as Patient Relations Representative for the next twelve years. I retired in 1990.

I enjoyed retirement for a while. I have hobbies that I love and used that time to paint portraits in oil of my friends, family members, children and pets. My intention is to do a blog just for my oil paintings. Another one of my hobbies is writing. And during my retirement I wrote a mystery novel.

But, alas, I couldn’t stay away. I returned to work, albeit part-time, and became employed again, this time by the Chamber of Commerce in a small desert city nearby.

I’m happy to say about four months ago I retired from the Chamber job. The politics was so thick it clung like potters clay. That’s when I decided to explore the Internet for a “work at home” career.

It took me a few months to find what I was looking for. At first I ran into a few snags, like a whole slew of never ending scams and get rich schemes.

I was just about to give up. But funny how I knew, how I had a gut-feeling the right work-from-home job would come along. I just had to keep searching till I found it.

After a while I became good at telling the difference between a work at home scam and the real thing. Actually, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out. But in the beginning it was difficult. One does need to be careful about investing money, especially if you are a newbie like me.

I kept searching until I found NZPCS Million Dollar Blueprint. What sold me on MDBP was the genuine sincerity of the people behind the scenes who want to share their wealth of knowledge about ways of earning money on line. I will talk more about this on another page of this work-from-home blog.

For right now I’d like to share a quote from my favorite poet philosopher, Kahill Gibran:

You work that you may keep pace with the earth and the soul of the earth.

And believe me I’ve been doing that. I’ve been keeping pace with the soul of the earth and I don’t think I’ll ever retire, not now, not as long as I have my work-from-home job at Million Dollar Blueprint. I can paint when I want. Write when I want. Work and make MONEY when I want. Thank you NZPCS.
